The Lytham St Anne's Free Methodist Church started in 1988, with a house-group of people meeting regularly. The church was originally pastored by an American church planter and met in Lytham. The church met in various venues in Lytham, before transferring to Mayfield Primary School in St Anne's in 1996. By 2003, the church was meeting in the Kilgrimol Guide Hall and was using Queensway Chapel by kind permission of the Brethren Fellowship. Queensway Chapel was eventually bought by LSAFMC in 2005 and the church have been meeting here ever since.
